12 They will lift you up with their hands,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.[a]
13 You will tread upon the asp and the viper;
you will trample the lion and the dragon.[b]
14 [c]“Because he loves me, I will deliver him,
I will raise high[d] the one who acknowledges my name.
